The meeting is aimed at people who want to lose weight, those with dyslipidaemia and those who want detailed information regarding healthy eating.
The nutrition session is aimed at meeting the need to inform patients in accordance with individual health issues.
The importance of the nutrition session is that the information obtained here is educational, helping to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Because nutrition is a complex medical specialization, the physician should have the ability to analyse the needs of patients as a whole and to have the expertise needed to identify optimal solutions to the needs of the patient.

Our Nutrition Consultancy meeting aims at gaining the right nutrition information so that everyone can adopt a balanced diet as part of a healthy lifestyle.
To meet the needs of our patients at the highest level, we have prepared 3 specialized nutrition sessions on specific needs.
The meeting is aimed at those who want to know what a healthy diet means.
Background: Currently there is a rich supply of nutrition information, especially in the online environment. Part of it is correct, but some information are contradictory, others are plain wrong. In addition, there are generally applicable nutrition rules, but there is also a need for individual recommendations based on medical history. This service is aimed at those who want to get the right nutrition information to ensure optimal nutritional status. If you are a person without any health problems, adopting a proper diet will help you maintain this state of health, meaning adopting a preventive behavior in terms of diseases onset such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.
If you are a person with health problems, nutritional healthcare has an adjuvant role, meaning a proper diet can help you in terms of quality of life, and increase the effectiveness of specific drug therapy.
Changing the level of blood fats, "good" cholesterol, "bad" cholesterol, triglycerides, has a major impact on the process of atherogenesis, which translates into an increase in the risk of vascular damage, respectively the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke. The decision to correct these blood parameters in order to prevent these vascular events is taken by a family doctor or an internist or cardiologist / neurologist after a careful analysis of the overall risk profile of each individual. How Can Diet Help? Depending on the degree and type of dyslipidaemia, the correct diet can be curative (especially in the case of moderate triglycerides) or may play an adjuvant role. In other words, with a tailored diet that takes into account the preferences of everyone, you may either no longer need medication or require lower doses of medication. Nutrition intervention is especially necessary when fat increases are not so high as to justify drug treatment, but give the patient a moderate risk of vascular involvement. Optimizing lifestyle at this time prevents evolution to unwanted events.
Overweight / obesity is a major risk factor for the development of many diseases, most commonly linked to type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. But virtually every organ in the body can suffer from excess fat. On the other hand, studies have shown that weight reduction is beneficial whether or not it is at ideal weight. It has been shown that lowering by at least 5% of the initial weight improves lipid profile, glycaemic control, blood pressure control. A multicentre diabetes prevention study showed that a 7% decrease in baseline weight through intense and sustained lifestyle changes was followed by a reduction in progression from glucose tolerance to diabetes in a proportion greater than that achieved with drug intervention.
But from the very beginning it must be established that no diet is necessary. Studies have shown that there are no significant differences in the number of kg lost, depending on the type of diet adopted, namely hyper-protein, low-carb, hypocaloric. It is shown that, in general, after dropping out of the diet in 6 months-1 year the number of lost kg is recovered. As such, the only long-term effective method is to identify habits, food mistakes, and correct them.
This meeting does not propose a diet. It has been thought of as an individual nutritional education session, so you can adopt a diet that will allow you to gradually lose weight, taking into account your personal peculiarities, from culinary preferences, program, up to the possible afflictions you suffer.
